Qui ho havia de dir, de les ‘tres Maries’The festival is a celebration
of the best in heavy psych, stoner and space-rock, and includes the very first
performance in Portugal of psychedelic rock legends Hawkwind.

Reverence Festival Valada is collaboration between Cartaxo Sessions and Camara
Municipal do Cartaxo, with the producers of Barcelos festival Milhoes de Festa,
Lovers & Lollypops, London promoter Club AC30 and Lisbon club Sabotage,
along with the support of, and the kind permission of Junta de Freguesia de

Portugal. I a més, ho fa en “plan a lo grande”. Els dies 12 i 13 de setembre a
la localitat de Cartaxo, a uns 70 km. de Lisboa, es reuniran un bon grapat de
bandes tallades pel mateix patró musical: Bardo
Pond, Sleepy Sun, Wooven Wand, Ringo Deathstarr, The
Asteroid#4, The Oscillation, The Telescopes, passant per bandes
llegendàries com Swervedriver o els
mítics Hawkwind i així fins a
ajuntar-ne quaranta.
El Reverence
surt de la col·laboració entre Cartaxo
Sessions, la Camara Municipal Do
Cartaxo, de les empreses Milhoes de
Festa, Lovers & Lollypops i
el promotor anglès Club AC 30. L’apoquinamenta
pels dos dies resulta de 55€ abans d’acabar el mes que estem, després a 70€.
De fet, ja ho diu la dita popular: “l’estatut que ens cal, és el de Portugal”.
